The private nursery schools Solonostro and Fantabosco are the two educational services that are managed by CAT and authorised and licensed by Florence City Council and Calenzano City Council respectively, for children between the ages of 3 and 36 months.
The Solonostro Nursery School is an educational service that has been active since 2005 and is located in Quartiere 4 in Florence. It welcomes children into a multifunctional space that is intentionally cosy and inviting. The nursery school prefers to use biological products, including biodegradable nappies, creams and soaps. The meals consist entirely of biological ingredients that are sourced from an external catering service called Zenzero Biocatering.
The Fantabosco Nursery School is a service that has been active since 2006 and is located in Calenzano, within the walls of a school facility and surrounded by a big, suitably-equipped green space. The service welcomes children from 3 to 36 months and has a total capacity for a maximum of 31 children. The school has its own kitchen and meals are prepared internally.
