OBJECTIVE
The objective of this service is to activate, through employment and a multidisciplinary team of consultants, a support programme and health cover for women who have been subjected to inhumane and degrading treatment and extreme violence, and for women who have been victims of trafficking; taking charge and planning diagnoses, treatments and rehabilitation for applicants and holders of international protection status. Furthermore, this service wishes to inform institutions and public opinion on the socio-medical issues faced by the beneficiaries, through targeted advocacy activities.

OBJECTIVES REACHED
In one year: the service deals with up to 70 women and has activated 250 interventions. The service also takes care of enhancing skill levels in healthcare and private social sector staff, through the permanent organisation of ad hoc training courses for the health-board and the private sector.
